HVAC OPENS ASHEVILLE FIELD OFFICE

ASHEVILLE, NC - HVAC Inc. announced the opening of an Asheville, NC field office. What began in 1986 in a small trailer at 709 Bluff City Highway, In Bristol, TN has grown into the region’s largest mechanical contracting / building solutions company in the region and the Asheville location continues that growth.


The Asheville field office will serve as hub for HVAC’s team of customer service representatives. The facility will also serve as a pivot point for the HVAC service division in the ever-growing Western North Carolina market.

HVAC president Keith Rhymer said, “We have always had a strong customer base in Western North Carolina and we see that growing daily. In order to better serve them better we felt it important to not only have a presence there but a facility that would help us expedite customer service in the Asheville region.”

James Edd Hill, company founder, added, “From the beginning, we have stood firm in our philosophy of listening, understanding and growing, based on client needs. We felt it was in the best interest of our Western North Carolina client base to serve them to the best of our ability. ”

Licensed & bonded in six states, HVAC has grown from eight to nearly one hundred forty employees. Founded by James Edd Hill, originally from Harlan County Kentucky and his late wife Becky, the company first offered heating, cooling and plumbing services to commercial clients in East Tennessee. While still offering these services, HVAC has grown into a one-stop shop for everything mechanical from both new building construction to building and systems renovation. The menu of HVAC services includes electrical, mechanical, plumbing, service, energy conservation, design/build, building automation, geothermal heat pumps, solar and indoor air quality.

GeoSolar is an acronym we use for geothermal heatpumps, solar and other alternative energy and energy savings measures for those who want to lessen their reliance on the power grid. With several options in geothermal heating and cooling, solar arrays and wind generation systems, HVAC continues to lead as innovators in energy saving green technologies and high tech computerized building automation. HVAC’s Asheville field office is located at 304 Elk Park Drive, Asheville, NC and the Bristol office is located at 101 Third Street in downtown Bristol.  HVAC now has a combined administration staff of over twenty-five, a technical field staff of nearly one hundred twenty and a fleet of over fifty vehicles serving the region.
